5 Questions About Dawn Michelle….Lightning Round!

1. Cats or Dogs?

I love all animals – and I would love to do more animal portraiture – but I have to go with dogs on this one. I have two of my own – Riley, a 90 lb. lab who thinks he is a lap dog and Sophie, a mixed breed who keeps her friends close and her enemies closer (Sophie 1, Opossum 0).

2. Vacation spot: Tropical or Wintry?

Tropical – gotta feel the sand between my toes. If anybody wants me to do family photos in Hawaii or Bora Bora, I wouldn’t turn you down. Arm twisted.

3. Your Go-To leisure reading genre:

Mystery or Thriller – Stephen King, Chuck Palahniuk, Vince Flynn = shivers down the spine. It’s a good thing.

4. Planes, trains, or automobiles?

1955 Porsche Spyder, nuff said. But really, all of the above. A scenic plane or train ride around mountains and lakes… absolutely! Restored classics, cafe racers, vintage motorcycles, new motorcycles, engines that make the windows rattle… Let’s do this!

5. Favorite Photography Icon:

Hmm…. this is tough. I’ll go with the first two that pop in my mind. Ansel Adams and Garrett Cornelison. Ansel Adams vision, scope, and impact are nearly unrivaled. Garrett Cornelison creates an amazing world through his photography and his attitude toward life is something to aspire to.
